Hazel Annie Roberts

July 25, 1915 - November 17, 2012

Hazel A. Roberts, age 97, formerly of Beaver Dam, died on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Prairie Ridge Assisted Living in Waupun.

The visitation will be at Grace Presbyterian Church in Beaver Dam on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM. The funeral service will follow at the church on Wednesday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Christopher E. Davis officiating. A luncheon will follow at church and burial will be at Randolph Cemetery at 1:30 PM.

Hazel Annie Roberts was born on July 25, 1915 in Randolph, Wisconsin to Edward and Edith (Bradley) Roberts. She worked at Weyenberg Shoe Factory for 25 years. Hazel was an active member of the Dodge County Friends of Animals and a proud member of the Eagles Auxiliary. She volunteered her time at Lakeview Hospital and Beaver Dam Hospital for many years. Hazel was a devoted member to Grace Presbyterian Church and was a Deacon.

She is survived by her loving nieces and nephew, Charlotte Norenberg, Mary Roberts, Julie (Joe) Conrad, Theresa Wohlrabe, and Jack (Diane) Cigelske; great nieces and great nephews, Dale (Dana) Norenberg, Susan Dyhr, William L. (Kristin) Dyhr, Amy (Dan) Carlin, Michael Joel Cigelske, Lisa Cigelske, Lucas Conrad, Lacy Conrad, and Tracy Conrad, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Edith Cigelske; brothers, Clarence and Edward Roberts; and niece, Elaine Dyhr.

Hazel with a hat...I''m Maria''s grandma and remember Hazel from years ago. A few weeks ago I was thinking of Hazel. I just turned 90 and glad to see that Hazel made it to 97. She lived a long life and impacted the lives of many. I knew Hazel growing up years ago. My prayers are with you all.
