Helen Henderson of Chandler, AZ, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 14, 2011 at the age of 98.

Helen was born in Beaver Dam, WI on May 19, 1913. She retired from Goodyear Tires and moved to Chandler, AZ in 1982. Helen will be greatly missed and remembered for her care of others, spiritual strength, and love of family. Helen had an independent spirit that will live forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary Plankel, her husband William Henderson, her seven brothers and sister, and her daughter, Finney (Henderson) Kloser. Helen is survived by her son, Arthur Henderson of Red Granite, WI, WI, her daughter, Christine (Henderson) Judd of Tempe, AZ, her 11 grandchildren, and her 18 great grandchildren.

The memorial gathering will be at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 511 S. Spring St. in Beaver Dam on Saturday, July 23, 2011 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. The Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will follow on at the church on Saturday at 11:00 AM with Fr. Michael J. Erwin officiating. Inurnment will follow at St. Peter”s Cemetery, Town of Beaver Dam, Dodge County, Wisconsin.

I was so sorry to hear of Helen''s passing. She was a great friend when we both worked at Goodyear Tire in Sun Prairie. When Helen moved to Arizona we kept in touch with telephone calls several times a year and it was always great to hear Helen''s cheerful voice. I am sorry I will not be able to attend Memorial Services for Helen on the 21st of July as my daughter and family will be visiting from out of State. Helen will always be in my prayers.
