Hortense 'Tenny' Luebke

Hortense ‘Tenny’ Luebke of Iron Ridge passed away on August 5, 2017 at Crossroads Care Center in Mayville.A funeral for Tenny will take place on Wednesday, August 9 at 11 a.m. at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church- Browns Corner with the Rev. Richard J. Boeck, Jr. officiating. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 9 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will take place at St. John Cemetery in Mayville.Tenny was born on August 16, 1925 the daughter of Henry and Elsa (Brandenburg) Pankow in the township of Hubbard. She was united in marriage to Franklyn Luebke on July 24, 1960 at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church- Browns Corner. She farmed with her husband Franklyn in the township of Hubbard. She was a faithful member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church- Browns Corner and also served on the Ladies Aid.Tenny is survived by her daughters- Sarah Luebke of Iron Ridge and Rachel (Robert) Simons of Stoughton. Her brother Melvin (Eleanore) Pankow of Iron Ridge. Sisters in law – Marilyn Luebke of Iron Ridge and Susan Whelan of Madison. Further survived by neices, nephews, other relatives, and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Franklyn in 2003, brother Harley, and sisters Verna (Roy) Billington and Myrtle Pankow. Memorials may be directed to St. John Ev.
