Howard E. Lange

Howard E. Lange, 93, of Columbus passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Larson House in Columbus. Howard was born on September 29, 1924 to Arthur and Meta (Reinhardt) Lange. On October 20, 1944, he was united in marriage to Edna Kuck in Columbus. Howard worked with his family running the family farm for many years while working at Metalfab until his retirement. Afterwards, he was employed with Jung’s Seed Company and Vita Plus. Howard enjoyed working in his garden and spending many hours in his flower beds. Howard is survived by his three children: Janet (Tom) Knudson of Columbus, Darlene Lange of Shawano, and Dennis (Carole) Lange of Columbus; two grandchildren: Renee (Troy) Selje and Aaron Lange; two great-grandchildren: Hailey Lange and Jackson Lange; and further survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Edna in 2016; two brothers and one sister. Howard’s family will have a private funeral service at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam.
