Howard W. Schultz, age 84, died on Monday, May 26, 2008 at the Clearview Nursing Home in Juneau.
The visitation for Howard will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Horicon from 9:00 AM until 11:30 AM. The funeral service will follow on Thursday at the church with Rev. Mark Hasty officiating. Burial will be at Oakhill Cemetery in Horicon. The Juneau American Legion Post #15 will provide military honors.
Howard William Schultz, Sr. was born on February 8th, 1924 in Juneau. On October 23, 1944, he was united in marriage with Frances Miescke. They lived in the Dodge County area most of their lives until they moved to New London. They had three children, Beverly Schultz, Howard (Shirley) Schultz, Jr. of Hustisford, and Rochelle (Tim) Hinkes of New London, eight grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Howard was a veteran of the Army Air Corps and was honorably discharged in 1946. He worked at Beaver Ready Mix until his retirement. Howard was a longtime member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church.
Howard is preceded in death by his parents, William and Bertha (Punzel) Schultz, his wife, Frances, his daughter, Beverly, a great grandson, Xavier Schultz, and 13 brothers and sisters. He is the last of the Schultz legacy to be welcomed into God”s home.
You are finally joined with your family, Dad. We will miss you, but you will be forever in the hearts of all the Schultz family that will carry on.
