Jane Lynn Schweiger, age 60, of Beaver Dam passed away unexpectedly in her home on Saturday, March 17, 2012.

The visitation will be at Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Sunday, March 25, 2012 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM. There will also be a visitation at the funeral home on Monday, March 26, 2012 from 10:00 AM until the time of service. The funeral service will be 11:00 AM with Rev. Dr. Mark J. Molldrem officiating. Cremation will follow.

Jane was born on September 10, 1951 in Waukesha, Wisconsin to Ralph and Pauline (Hammond) Elwing. She was known for her artistic values and beautiful personality. She loved gardening and tending to her flowers. She took great pride in her home and loved to entertain. Jane”s true passion in life was her family. She had a way of making everyday-things special and the holidays magical. She gave endlessly to her husband and children and loved being a nana.

Jane is survived by her husband and best friend, Lance Schweiger, of Beaver Dam; father, Ralph Elwing of San Jose, CA; children, Katie (Jody) Garcia, of Victorville, CA, Jenny (Andre) Laforet of San Diego, CA, Meggie (Andrew Wadsworth) Danielson of Perth, WA, Australia, and Jacob Danielson of Beaver Dam. She is Also survived by her brother, Jim (Linda) Elwing; sister, Susan Roglinski; step children, Scott Schweiger (Sue Hayes), Jolene Schraufnagel, both of Beaver Dam, and Willie (Trisha) Schweiger of Waupun; 11 cherished grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Jane was preceded in death by her mother, Pauline Elwing.
