Services: A celebration of Janet’s life will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hartford Golf Club, 7072 Lee Road, Hartford. All are welcome to attend this casual Celebration of Janet’s Life.

Visitation: Sunday, January 5th from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Hartford Golf Club.

Janet M. Aulenbacher, 65, of N3606 Bluff Rd. Juneau, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2013 at Rainbow Hospice Care in Johnson Creek.

A celebration of Janet’s life will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hartford Golf Club, 7072 Lee Road, Hartford to be followed by a time to visit with family and friends until 5:00 p.m. also at the Hartford Golf Club. All are welcome to attend this casual Celebration of Janet’s Life.

Janet was born on August 28, 1948 the daughter of Harry and Selma (Krause) Pfeiffer in Milwaukee. She was a 1966 graduate of Hartford Union High School. On July 19, 1969, she was united in marriage to George Aulenbacher. She spent her life taking care of the one’s she loved, her family.

Janet enjoyed gardening and baking but her true joy was being around her family and grandchildren.

Janet is survived by her husband of 44 years- George of Juneau. Her children- Edward (Kelly) Aulenbacher of Hartford, Erik (Julianne) Aulenbacher of Hartford, and Jennifer Aulenbacher of Juneau. Her brothers- Gerald Pfeiffer of Hartford and Fred (Naureen) Pfeiffer of Hartford. Her grandchildren- Sarah (Nathan), Shawn, Sammi, Savannah, and Brooklyn. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Edward.

The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of Rainbow Hospice Care for all of their wonderful care and support.
