February 26, 1929 - June 3, 2006

Jeanette C. Giese, age 77, of Sun Prairie, formerly of Beaver Dam and Fox Lake, died Saturday, June 3, 2006 at the Don and Marilyn Anderson Hospice Center in Fitchburg.

Friends may call at the Murray Funeral Home, 131 East Maple Avenue in Beaver Dam on Wednesday, June 7, 2006 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens in the Town of Trenton, Dodge County, Wisconsin.

The former Jeanette Schultz was born on February 26, 1929 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to the late Fred and Vera (Raatz) Schultz. Following graduation from Beaver Dam High School, she was united in marriage with William J. Giese in August of 1947. He preceded Jeanette in death in 1985. During her lifetime, Jeanette was employed at Klinsing Restaurant, Phoenix Hosiery, and Bill”s Tackle Box, all in Beaver Dam. She enjoyed reading, fishing, movies, history, her family, traveling, and Walt Disney World.

Survivors include three daughters, Christine (Alan) Hall of Newport News, Virginia, Linda Firestone of Sun Prairie and Susan (John) Martin of Lodi; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Jack) Williams of Yorktown, Virginia, Benjamin (Kim) Casey of Waupun, Ryan Mae Casey of Worcester, Massachusetts and, Rebecca Parker of Pasco, Washington; three great grandchildren, Tanya and Evan Williams and Jonathan Casey; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and six brothers, Robert, Lawrence, Rueben, Fred, John, and Arthur Schultz.

The family suggests that memorials be made in Jeanette Giese”s name to the Don and Marilyn Anderson Hospice Center in Fitchburg.

The Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is serving the family.
