Jerome Kraszewski, age 94, of Beaver Dam, died on Friday, September 9, 2011 at Eagle”s Wings in Beaver Dam.
A private gathering will be held at a later date.
Jerome Kraszewski was born on May 24, 1917 in Natrona, Pennsylvania to Ladislaus and Anastasia (Zakrzewski) Kraszewski. In April of 1940 he was united in marriage with Theresa Fucile in Milwaukee. Jerome was an engineer at Harley Davidson retiring in 1971. He was a nationally known chess player and was a Gold Life Master of Bridge. Jerome enjoyed golfing at Sunset Hills after retirement and in his earlier years, he was a pretty good left handed baseball pitcher.
Survivors are his daughter, Kathleen Quincey of Beaver Dam, grandsons, Kevin Quincey of London, UK, Brian (Rosemary Moylan) Quincey of Brookfield and their children, William, Jack and Declan, Theodore (Aryka) Quincey of Madison, and Scott (Gina Utrie) Quincey of Madison and their son, Alex. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jerome was preceded in death by his parents, wife, four sisters and two brothers.
The family suggests that memorials be made in Jerome Kraszewski”s name to the Norbert, Wallace, and Romaine Kay Scholarship Foundation at Marquette University.
