John August Kienow

John A. Kienow, age 86, died on Saturday, December 29, 2007, at the Columbus Community Hospital.

A Memorial Service for John will be held at a later date.

John August Kienow was born on July 3, 1921 to the late Edward and Augusta (Arndt) Kienow, in Lowell, Wisconsin, On September 6, 1958, he was united in marriage with Irma Lillian (Wright) Peck in Lowell. John lived in the Reeseville and Lowell area all his life and owned and operated a farm there. In 1990, John sold his farm and moved to Arizona. He was currently a resident of Columbus.

John is survived by is wife, Irma of Columbus, his three step-children, Roland (Dian) Peck of Madison, Roger (Chris) Peck of Portage and Marcia Peck of Madison, several grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Walter, his first wife, Lucille and his step-daughter, Marilyn “Mitz” Merrill.

The family suggests that memorials be made in John”s name to Heartline Medix, 240 North Water Street, Columbus, Wisconsin 53925.
