Joseph D. Schickert, 54, of Randolph, WI passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at his home.

Joseph Daniel was born on December 17, 1959 the son of Henry J. and Joan M. (Seiler) Schickert in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He was a 1978 graduate of Waterloo High School. On September 26, 1998, he was married to Cindy L. Anderson Hansen in Fox Lake.

Joe had been employed as a mechanic throughout the years. Joe enjoyed cooking, gardening and riding his motorcycle.

Joe is survived by his sons: Jason Hansen of Georgia and Gregory (Tracy) Hansen of Sheboygan; his grandchildren: Holden and Bailey Hansen of Sheboygan; his mother Joan (Ken) Weidemeyer of Juneau; four sisters: Christine Kruwell of Lake Mills, Patricia Schickert of Waterloo, Susan Morris of Whitewater and Julie Liegel of Austin, TX; and his brother Norbert (Robin) Schickert of Juneau. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father Henry and his wife Cindy and his nephew Jacob Kruwell.

A celebration of Joe’s life will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Road, Beaver Dam with Rev. Chris Davis officiating. A visitation will also be held on Tuesday, Feb. 25th from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
