September 20, 1981 - April 22, 2012

Joseph D. Hartt, age 30, of Beaver Dam, died on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

The visitation will be at Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at the funeral home on Wednesday at 6:00 PM with Joe Kazmarek and Jim Sherron officiating. Cremation will follow.

Joseph Daniel Hartt was born on September 20, 1981 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to Randy and Cindy (Nelson) Hartt. After graduating from Beaver Dam High School, he worked for White Construction as a Cable Layer, which was a job that he thoroughly enjoyed. Joe loved to crack jokes and wouldn”t have to work hard to make one laugh. People thought he was funny but it was his big heart that everyone loved the most. He loved animals, especially dogs. He had a passion for ice fishing and hunting. Joe will forever be missed by those closest to him.

Survivors are his father, Randy Hartt of Beaver Dam, his mother, Cindy Hartt, also of Beaver Dam; brother, Benjamin Hartt and his children, Hally and Elizabeth Hartt, of Columbus, sisters, Angela Hartt (Mesay Tefera) of Oak Park, IL, and Sarah (Derrick) Camardo and their children, Zoe and Darren Camardo of St. Charles, IL; his grandma, Bonnie Dillard of Beaver Dam, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandpa, John Hartt, paternal grandma Loretta Wolc, maternal grandpa, Vernon Nelson, and his maternal step-grandpa, Reber Dillard.
