Joyce E. Bleifuss

August 2, 1928 - February 16, 2012

Joyce E. Bleifuss, age 83, died on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Winchester Place, in Horicon.

The visitation will be at St. Stephen Lutheran Church on Monday, February 20, 2012 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. The funeral will follow at church on Monday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Daniel Seehafer officiating. Burial will be at Oakhill Cemetery in Horicon

The former Joyce Edna Adela Benzel was born on August 2, 1928 in Mayville, Wisconsin to Arnold A. and Ida M. (Lindert) Benzel. She was a 1946 graduate of Mayville High School. On March 8, 1947 she was united in marriage with Otto C. Bleifuss at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mayville. Joyce was a bookkeeper for her husband”s business, Bleifuss Feed and Supply. She was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Horicon and was active with the ladies” aide.

Survivors are her two children, Susan (John) Macisak of Miamisburg, OH, and Dennis (Karen) Bleifuss of Las Vegas, NV, grandchildren, Tracy (Nathan) Nelson, and Troy (Jennifer) Macisak, both of Cumming, GA, great grandchildren, Hannah, Mikaylah, Micah, and Malachi Nelson, Cali and Riley Macisak, sisters-in-law, Anne Benzel of Mayville and Mae Bleifuss of Horicon, long-time neighbor and friend, Betty Dunski, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers, Alvin, Carl, and Clarence Benzel.

The family suggests that memorials be made in Joyce E. Bleifuss” name to St. Stephen Lutheran Church.
