Juanita J. Payton, 60, Beaver Dam passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2013 as a result of an accident.

Juanita Joy was born on December 19, 1952 the daughter of Donald and Helen Ann (Swenson) Jungbluth in Madison, Wisconsin. On July 3, 1971, she was united in marriage to Kenneth E. Payton in Richwood, Wisconsin.

Juanita was employed as a registered nurse at Clearview Nursing and Rehabilitation for over 40 years. Her hobbies were work, walking her dogs, reading and helping others. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. Most important to Juanita was the love of family.

Juanita is survived by her husband Kenneth; her parents: Donald and Ann Jungbluth of Reeseville; children: Brenda L. (Rodney) Posthuma of Beaver Dam and Nathaniel E. (Misti Jo) Payton of Oshkosh; three grandchildren: Corey, Julia and Kyle; step grandchildren: Michael and his son Jacob, and Dakota; sisters and brothers: Emily (Theodore) Gay of Waterloo, Linda (Dan) Fugate of Reeseville, Danny Jungbluth of Reeseville, Joette Jungbluth of Reeseville, Andrew (Chris) Jungbluth of Waterloo, Wanda (Andy) Rodriguez of College Station, TX and Mark Jungbluth of Waunakee; special aunt Sandra (Frank) Bertsch of Fox Lake; nieces, nephews, other relatives, co-workers and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister Donna Hebl.

A Celebration of Life for Juanita will be held on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Road, Beaver Dam with the Rev. Chris Behymer officiating. A visitation will also be held on Friday, September 6th from 1:30 – 4:00 p.m. also at the Koepsell Funeral Home.

I was shocked to hear of the accident. What a loss for your family. I know how much fun you had hosting your big parties and now there is such a big void in your lives. Don and Helen must be so devastated too. No parent should have to bury a child and no family should have to have someone depart without warning. You may think there are words left unspoken but I know Juanita knew how much she was loved and appreciated by so many. Ken, I am so sorry, words are hard to find.

Ken, Brenda, Nathan, Cory, Julia, Kyle... my prayers are with you all. Juanita had a heart of gold and truly loved her family. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren and I know she will live in their hearts forever. She was one remarkable woman. Her strength and kindness has touch so many of us.

Had the wonderful privilege to work with Juanita at Clearview, and witness the effort she put forth to acquire her RN. Deepest sympathies to her family, she will be missed.
