Kathleen A. Kriehn, 53 years old, of Mayville, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016 at her home. A memorial Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 28th at St Mary Catholic Church in Mayville, with the Rev. Father Tom Biersack presiding. A visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the 1:00 p.m. Mass on Thursday, Jan. 28th also at the church.Kathleen was born on October 23, 1962 to Charles and Alice (Yerges) Schindel in Beaver Dam. She was a graduate of Horicon High School. Kathy was united marriage to Doug Kriehn on May 7, 1988 at St. Malachy Catholic Church in Horicon. She was employed by the Mayville School District, working in the Special Education Department.Kathy was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Mayville. She was very active in the Mayville Summer Children’s Theater and other children’s activities during the summer. She was very involved in Flyway Soccer and she loved to do puzzles.Kathy is survived by her husband Doug of Mayville; his children- Carissa Kriehn of Mayville and Kyle (Dani) Kriehn & their child Lucas of Merrill; her sisters & brothers- Charles (Kathy) Schindel of Fox Lake, Donald (Georgia) Schindel of Waupun, Robert Schindel of Horicon, Mary Schindel of Beaver Dam, Diane (Jim) Sell of Beaver Dam, Laurie (Russ) Davison of Horicon, Joanne Schindel of Hustisford, and Barb (John) Rechek of Fox Lake; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Kathy is preceded in death by her parents and her nephew Gerald Sell.
