Kathleen “Katie” M. Sutton

Kathleen “Katie” M. Sutton, 91, of West Bend, passed away at the Samaritan Health Center in West Bend on Wednesday, August 16, 2017.A visitation will be held on Monday, August 21, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville. Burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens in the Town of Trenton. Kathleen was born the daughter of James and Catherine (Neihoff) Mahoney on May 13, 1926 in Theresa, Wisconsin. She graduated from Marquette Nursing School, and went on to work as a public health nurse. On January 3, 1948 she was united in marriage with Harland L. Sutton in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Katie enjoyed bird watching, knitting, and traveling.She is survived by her children; David (Judy) Sutton of Littleton, CO, Daniel (Ruth) Sutton of West Bend, two grandchildren; Dan (Tina) Sutton, Jr., Tom (Alex) Sutton, four great-grandchildren; Jack, Ben, Will, and Hope. Katie is further survived by other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harland in 2013, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at the Samaritan Health Center in West Bend, and Allay Hospice.
