Kristine ‘Kris’ Lynn Kaiser, age 59, of Horicon passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017, at St. Agnes Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.A memorial service will take place on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 4 p.m. at the Koepsell Murray Funeral Home in Horicon with Chaplain Amy Golm officiating. A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 1 – 4 p.m. at the funeral home in Horicon. Kris was born the daughter of Dennis and Agnes (Becker) McDougal in Waukesha on June 21, 1958. She was a 1976 Waupun High School graduate. Kris was united in marriage to Steve Kaiser on May 14, 1977. She had been employed at DWC Specialties in Horicon. She was an active member of the Horicon Snowmobile Club where she had served as a past secretary. In her spare time she enjoyed nature while snowmobiling, gardening, motorcycle rides with her husband Steve, and trips up north to the family cabin in Neilsville. She also liked to read, knit, and crochet. Family was also important to Kris and she loved the time she spent with her girls and granddaughters.Kris is survived by her husband- Steve of Horicon. Her mother Agnes (Ron) Vande Zande of Waupun. Her mother and father in law- Don and Barb Kaiser of Horicon. Her daughters- Kelli (Troy) Werner of Mayville, Amy Kaiser of West Allis, and Michelle Kaiser of Horicon. Her siblings- Cheryl (Brian) Nummerdor of Waupun, Ken (Linda) McDougal of Beaver Dam, and Dan (Ginny) McDougal of FL. Her sister in law- Faye (Ken) Checolinski of Mayville. Her brother in law- Joel ‘Buck’ (Grace) Kaiser of Horicon. Her granddaughters- Amayah, Kaila, Madeline, Elizabeth, Aubree, and Chloe.She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her father Dennis, brother in law Kurt Kaiser and sister in law Karen Kaiser.
