




















































































































































Leo Bernard Wondra, age 89 of LeRoy, Wisconsin passed away Wednesday April 13, 2016 at the Grafton Aurora Medical Center in Grafton.A Mass of Christian Burial for Leo will take place on Tuesday, April 19 at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church in LeRoy with the Rev. Fr. Tom Biersack presiding. A visitation will take place on Monday, April 18 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville and again on Tuesday, April 19 from 9-9:45 a.m. at the funeral home in Mayville. Burial will take place at St. Andrew Cemetery in LeRoy. Leo was born on February 8, 1927 on the family farm to Kilian and Cecilia (Gindt) Wondra. He was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in LeRoy.He was united in marriage to Marcella E. Beine on May 20, 1953 in Hartford. With his family, Leo took care of the land and dairy farmed in LeRoy for most of his life. In his spare time he enjoyed traveling, coin collecting, and photography. Most important to Leo was his family and the time he cherished spending with them.Survivors include his children- Howard (Dori) Wondra of Beaver Dam, Mark (fiancé’ Patty Newman) Wondra of Mayville, Barbara (Robert) Liban of Sussex, Randal (Mia) Wondra of Madison, Russel (Patti) Wondra of Mayville, and Julie (Andrew) Wanie of Jackson. His grandchildren- Clint (Amanda) Wondra, Staci (Jimmy) Karnau, Brad (Special Friend Sarah) Wondra, Erick Liban, Evan Liban, Emma Wondra, Ashley Wondra, Ben Wondra, James Wondra, Kyle Wanie, and Colin Wanie. His great grandchildren- Madden and Harrison. His sisters- Florence Gitter of Fond du Lac, Helen Thimm of Hartford, and Celia (Joe) Belligan of West Bend. His brother- Albert (Pat) Wondra of Scottsdale, AZ.. His special friend- Ruth Schaumburg. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Leo was preceded in death by his parents, wife Marcella, one daughter Diane, brothers- Arnold, Raymond, Edward, and Paul, sister- Genevieve.Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
