Lillian A. Heimler, age 93, of Beaver Dam, died on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.
A memorial gathering will take place on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 from 10:30 AM until 11:00 AM at St. Katharine Drexel Church, 127 W. Maple Ave., in Beaver Dam. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the church. Inurnment will be at St. Michael”s Cemetery, Town of Beaver Dam, Dodge County, Wisconsin.
The former Lillian Anne Pabich was born on February 28, 1917 in Fall River, Wisconsin to John and Sophie (Kolodziej) Pabich. On October 25, 1947, she was united in marriage to Arthur Heimler in Beaver Dam. Lillian lived in Chicago for 22 years working as a secretary for various businesses. She moved back to Beaver Dam in 1970. Lillian was past president of the Beaver Dam Women”s Club. She was a member of the former St. Michael”s church where she was active in the Rosary Society and Daughters of Isabella. She was also a former church council member.
Lillian is survived by a sister-in-law, Josephine Heimler, special nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister, Elizabeth Thomas, and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
The family suggests that memorials be made in Lillian”s name to St. Jude Children”s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
