Lois C. Anderson, age 79, died on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at her home in Horicon surrounded by her family after a short battle with cancer.

A private graveside service will be held at Mount Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst, Illinois.

The former Lois Carletta Jinerson was born on March 5, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois to Carl L. and Loretta M. (Pearson) Jinerson. She worked at Rizza Ford / Acura for 25 years. She taught many life lessons to her children; always help someone less fortunate, show unconditional love, be accepting and considerate, and keep your tolerance level high. Her legacy is one of love. Lois was a tough woman with a huge heart.

Survivors are her beloved husband, Ronald L. Anderson, children, Karen L. (Andrew Sabatke) Anderson and Rodney Anderson, grandchildren, Aubrey R. Anderson, Richard R. Mora, Bianca C. (Michael Hawkins) Mora, and Jon Sabatke, great grandson, Owen R. Hawkins. She was also a second mother to Barbie Wambach, a best friend of Karen, and her dog, Hoolie. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Loretta, and her dogs, Murphy, Monty, Savannah and Penny.
