Lon Schwoch

June 14, 1957 - June 12, 2018

Lon C. Schwoch, age 60, of Beaver Dam, died peacefully on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. Private services will be held. Lon Charles Schwoch was born on June 14, 1957 to Leslie and Iva (Schroeder) Schwoch. He worked for Fall River Foundry for 33 years. Lon was the best brother and friend that anybody could ask for. He was a great dad and taught us how to love the outdoors. Survivors are his two daughters, Lindsy (Daniel Garcia) Schwoch of Fox Lake and Laysi (Travis) Hanson of Beaver Dam; grandsons, Wesley and Jaxson Hanson; siblings, Vicki (Rodney) Nelson of Beaver Dam, Connie Fletcher of Beaver Dam, and Lynn Schwoch (Julie Stutz) of Juneau; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a nephew, Chris Wachter and a great nephew, Landen. If desired, memorials may be made to Hillside Hospice or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Wisconsin. The family would like to thank Hillside Hospice for the special care they provided to Lon.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you now in your time of sorrow. Although we may never know the answer to the question why, one likes to think that God made the ones he takes from us early so special that it takes less time for them to leave a their mark on the world. Lon will be remembered by all those whose lives he touched and the kindnesses he offered freely. I know that you are hurting now but take solace in the fact that he is no longer to suffer any worldly pain or sorrow. He is at peace with family that has gone before him.

Our hearts go out to you and your family at this difficult time. It is very hard to lose someone you love so much at an age where one expects to have more time to be together. It is funny how when we age our perception of "old" changes with us. The memories that built your lives will be of comfort to you now and in the future keeping Lon close in all your hearts. May you find peace in the fact that he is at peace and has joined all those who have gone before him. God bless you all.
