Lovilla A. Pitzlin, 84, of Juneau, WI, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.A visitation will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Juneau on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Paul Schupmann will officiate. Burial will take place at Juneau City Cemetery.Lovilla was born on April 18, 1931 to Gustav and Martha (Bohnenstengel) Griep in Hartford, WI. She was united in marriage to Lewis Pitzlin on September 1, 1951 at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Juneau. She was employed as a CNA at Clearview Nursing Home in Juneau and was later employed in the lab at Universal Foods in Juneau, Pauly Cheese in Juneau, and Aunt Nellie’s in Clyman.Lovilla was a lifelong member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Juneau where she attended school and was confirmed. She was a member of St. John Ladies Aid and also St. John choir. Lovilla was a member of the Juneau Area Homemaker’s Club and the Juneau American Legion Post #15 Auxiliary. She volunteered at Clearview Nursing Home with the Jesus Cares Ministry and also with Saturday bingo.Lovilla is survived by: her children- Jeanne Dittberner of Juneau, Jennifer (Gary) Thiel of Beaver Dam, and Joel (Nancy) Pitzlin of Juneau; her grandchildren- James Dittberner, Travis (Jamie) Dittberner, Whitney Pitzlin, Kyle Pitzlin, Kayla Pitzlin, Erica Thiel, Aaron Thiel, Sara (Chris) Riel, Lara Loest, James Thiel and Jami (Jen) Thiel; 11 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Marion, Barb, and Jo Ellen Pitzlin; her brother-in-law, Ken (Donna) Pitzlin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Lovilla is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lewis in 1995, her sister Darlene Niht, her sisters-in-law and her brothers-in-law.Memorials may be directed to St. John Ev.
