Lyndon D. Griffin, age 57, died on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Meriter Hospital in Madison.
There will be a memorial gathering at Faith Christian community Church, 401 Stone St. in Beaver Dam on Monday, June 17, 2013 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at the church on Monday at 4:00 PM.
Lyndon Douglas Griffin was born on August 14, 1955 in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin to Douglas and Ida (Davis) Griffin. He was a talented pianist and wrote his own music that he would play in his free time in the lobby at Beaver Dam Community Hospital. Lyndon also volunteered much of his time delivering papers at the hospital and his summers were spent at Sky Lodge Christian Camp in Montello. He was an active member at the Senior Center and was a participant at Faith Community Church in Beaver Dam.
Survivors are his children, Marc (Brandi) Griffin of Beaver Dam, Alicia Griffin of Waupun, and Rebekah (Shane) Gaumitz of Kansas City, MO; granddaughter, Zoey Gaumitz; father, Douglas (Evelyn) Griffin of Middleton; a special cousin, Patricia Davis of Beaver Dam; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ida; sister, Nancy; and aunt, Patricia Rushbrook.
