Marie C. Wallintin, age 100, of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully with her daughter and granddaughter by her side, on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at the Ivy Manor in Campbellsport. Visitation for Marie will be held on Friday, December 21st from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Father Mike Erwin officiating at St. Katharine Drexel in Beaver Dam. Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery. Marie was born the daughter of August and Caroline (Bruderer) Martini on December 9, 1918 in Monticello, Wisconsin. She worked on the family farm and was also employed at various canning companies in the area. On November 18, 1944 Marie was united in marriage with Bernard Wallintin in Lost Lake. Marie was a faithful member of St. Katharine Drexel in Beaver Dam. She enjoyed her chickens, gardening and canning on the farm. She always loved to have fresh flowers in her home, and liked to play bingo. She is survived by her children; Dennis Wallintin of Beaver Dam, Virginia Buchholz of Waupun, David (Kay) Wallintin of Beaver Dam, and her granddaughter; Jennifer Buchholz. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bernard in 1998, and son-in-law Charles Buchholz in 2014. The family would like to thank Ivy Manor for their great care for the past 1 ½ years. Thank you to Agnesian Hospice for their compassionate care of our mom during her last 2 months of her life. Also thank you to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waupun for their spiritual needs and for the goodies at Easter and Christmas while Marie resided in Waupun. It was much appreciated!
