Marie M. Kulka, age 89, of Beaver Dam, died Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the Remembrance Home in Beaver Dam.

Visitation for Marie will be at the Murray Funeral Home, 131 East Maple Avenue in Beaver Dam, on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a rosary service at 7:00 PM. Visitation will also be held at church on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Katharine Drexel Church, 511 South Spring Street in Beaver Dam, on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at St. Peter”s Cemetery in Beaver Dam. A luncheon will follow at St. Katharine Drexel Parish Center Mission Hall, 408 South Spring Street.

Marie Margaret was born on June 15, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Lambert and Helen (Goerres) Fox. On June 19, 1943, she was united in marriage with John Kulka in Chicago; they moved to Beaver Dam in 1951. Her smiling face, her dedication to feed our bodies so we could feed our minds in the classroom. When I was in high school I was at The Kulka Family Home many times, stayed overnight and Mrs Kulka always was kind to me and fed me along with the rest of the family. Her husband John was also a great guy who passed away in 1969, she had to raise the family by herself and did a fabulous job.
