Marion “Merry” E. Kreitzman, age 72, of Clyman, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 16, 2011, surrounded by her family in St. Louis, MO.
The visitation will be at Murray Funeral Home in Reeseville on Sunday, November 20, 2011 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. There will also be a visitation at Zion Lutheran Church in Clyman on Monday from 9:00 AM 11:00 AM. The funeral service will follow at the church on Monday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Michael Schempf officiating. Burial will be at Lowell Cemetery.
The former Marion Elizabeth Erickson was born on March 25, 1939 in Watertown, Wisconsin to Edval and Marion (Wicker) Erickson. Merry was a 1958 graduate of Juneau High School. On January 29, 1959 she was united in marriage with Paul Kreitzman in Clyman. Merry worked at Brandt Incorporated in Watertown for 28 years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Clyman where she was active in the Ladies Aid and the Stewardship Committee. Merry also dedicated much of her time to Bethesda in Watertown.
Survivors are her five daughters, Deborah (Terry) Bock, Brenda (David) Dricken, Dawn (Marty) Pint, Penny (David) Huebner, and Connie (FiancAC., Jake Hoffman), special friend, Herb Ninmann, 11 grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, three brothers, James (Judy) Erickson, Roger Erickson, and Phillip (Donna) Erickson, a sister, Idella (Chuck) Nikolaus, sisters-in-law, Beverly (Elmer) Schwantes, and Marion Kreitzman, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband on March 30, 1991 and a brother, Larry Erickson in 1954, mother-in-law, Irma Gahlman.
If desired, memorials may be made in Marion E. Kreitzman”s name to Zion Lutheran Church in Clyman.
