Marion R. Barsch, 87, of Burnett, passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at the Beaver Dam Community Hospital. Visitation for Marion will be held on Wednesday, November 28th from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tim Sallach officiating at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Burnett. Burial will follow at Burnett Central Cemetery. Marion was born the daughter of Emil and Lillian (Luebke) Barsch on January 9, 1931 in Burnett. She went on to work for Green Giant, Green Valley Enterprises and retired from the Clearview Nursing Home as a kitchen assistant. She was a lifelong, faithful member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Burnett where she was also a member of the quilting group. She enjoyed gardening, watching birds and listening to the radio. She is survived by her nieces and nephew; Barbara Lepple of Burnett, Marilyn (Albert) Peirick of Burnett, Karen (Charlie) Vanderhoof of Casco, Robert (Tana) Barsch of Waupun, and step-nephew; Joel Ott. She is further survived by great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives and friends. Marion was preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Mildred Beier, Margaret Wuesthoff and Luella Barsch, brothers; Martin, Harvey and Orin. If desired, memorials may be directed to Zion Ev. Lutheran Church or the charity of one’s choice.
