Mark J. Dehn, 64, of Beaver Dam passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam. Mark was born on June 9, 1954 in Fond du Lac to Norman and Betty (Lautenschlager) Dehn. He was a graduate of Oakfield High School and later Fox Valley Technical College. Mark was married to Lynne K. Harms on November 8, 1975 in Ripon, WI. He dedicated his career as a police officer beginning with the City of Fox Lake and later the City of Beaver Dam where he served 28 years until his retirement. Mark was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Beaver Dam. He enjoyed watching the Wisconsin Badgers and Chicago Cubs. Mark loved the outdoors, especially hunting. He enjoyed spending time with his friends but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Mark is survived by his wife, Lynne of Beaver Dam; his two children: Karalyn (Jeffrey) Massen of Beaver Dam and Mitchell (Kimberly) Dehn of Ripon; his grandchildren: Henry, Evalynn, and Colton and one expected in October; his brothers and sisters; cousins; other relatives and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his father and brother as well as his father and mother-in-law: Ray and Arlynn Harms. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. A visitation will also be held at Trinity United Methodist Church in Beaver Dam on Saturday, September 8th from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m.at the church. Rev. Cherie Forret will officiate. Interment will take place at Garden of the Cross Cemetery in Ripon, WI.
