Marlene A. Keel, 82, of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Dycora Transitional Health Center in Beaver Dam. A memorial service for Marlene will be held on Monday, August 27th at 4:00 p.m. at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with the Rev. Seth Dorn officiating. A visitation will also be held on Monday, August 27th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Marlene Adeline Keel was born on July 8, 1936 to Raymond and Lucile (Bartelt) Krueger in Friesland. She was a graduate of Randolph High School. On April 22, 1961 she was united in marriage to Gerald O. Keel at St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. Marlene was a member of St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. She always had a friendly face and smile, which customers loved when she worked as a cashier at Fleet Farm. Marlene is survived by: her daughter Wanda Keel of Beaver Dam, brothers and sister; Delvin (Beverly), Victoria “Vickie”, Alvin (Shirley), and Marvin Krueger. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gerald in 2016, brothers; Norbert and Vilas and infant sister Victoria Mae.
