Marlene M. Tesch, age 75, died Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.
Visitation for Marlene will be held at St. Stephen Evangelical Lutheran Church in Horicon on Saturday, January 15, 2011 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will follow at church on Saturday, beginning at 11:00 AM. Rev. Daniel Seehafer will officiate. Burial will be at Oakhill Cemetery in Horicon.
Marlene was born on September 30, 1935 in the Town of Hustisford, Dodge County, Wisconsin to the late Walter and Margaret (Kreuger) Buelter. On July 1, 1952, she was united in marriage with Arville Tesch in Clyman. Marlene worked in the lunch room at the Horicon High School for over 29 years. After retiring from the school, she managed the meal site in Beaver Dam and later in Horicon. Marlene enjoyed traveling, but she really loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of St. Stephen Evangelical Lutheran Church in Horicon and the Horicon American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Arville Tesch of Horicon; two children, Sandy (Donald) Skalitzky of Wausau and Rick Tesch of Horicon; five grandchildren, Jason (Caitlin) Skalitzky of Wausau, Craig (Cerra) Tesch of Boise, ID, Stacy Tesch (Eric Hafenstein) of Juneau, Brandon Tesch (Nichole Becker) of Waupun, and Brittany Tesch of Horicon; three great grandchildren, Mason Tesch, Avery Hafenstein, and Kendall Hafenstein; her brother, Conrad (Carol) Buelter of Juneau; four brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Darwin (Lois) Tesch of Horicon, Wanda Tesch and Delores Tesch, both of Watertown, and Delmar (Lois) Tesch of DeForest; nephews, other relatives and friends. Marlene was preceded in death by her parents.
