Just to clarify my previous note, what I meant to mean was " I had lots of great get-togethers and adventures with him and Mickey as kids in Milwaukee" Dan

Marty was one of the smartest and toughest guys I ever knew. He taught me how to fix anything. He showed me how to ride bikes right to the limit. His example and advice helped me starting my life. I remember when I was in 1st grade and an eight grader was picking on me. Marty was in 7th and even though this guy was much bigger, he promptly kicked his butt. Marty did not back down from anyone or anything. Even though we drifted apart and I haven't seen him for some years, the days spent with him are still clear in my memories. Part of the way I am is because of him. He protected and looked over me as his younger brother. Later on he treated me as an equal. Thanks Marty

He was a great cousin, had lots of great get-togethers and adventures with Mickey as kids in Milwaukee. Later on my mom and dad had great times discussing motorcycles.

Condolences to the Lentz family. I will always remember
Marty for his profound logic,
his ability to turn a stressfull outburst into a
humorous moment and the fortitude to tell it like it is to whomever deserved it.
