Marvin E. Heller, 82 years old, of Horicon, WI, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015 at Golden Living Center, Beaver Dam.Memorial services will be held on Sunday, April 26th at St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church, Horicon at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. Daniel Seehafer officiating. A visitation will be held at St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church on Sunday, April 26th from 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Military honors will be conducted by the Horicon American Legion Post #157.Marvin was born on July 20, 1932 to Emil and Mary (Krueger) Heller in Horicon. He was a graduate of Horicon High School. Marvin was united in marriage to Brigitte E. Koszewa on July 27, 1962 in Milwaukee, WI. He was employed at Mayville Metal Products in Mayville.Marvin was a lifelong member of St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church in Horicon. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Army. Marvin was a member of the Horicon Marsh Snowmobile Club and was the Director of the Dodge County Snowmobile Assoc. He loved sports and was a lifelong racing enthusiast. Marvin is survived by: his wife Brigitte of Horicon, his daughter Carrie (Guy) Zabel of Horicon, his sister Manette (Grant) Flouro of Nekoosa, and his grandson Steven (Ryan Crose) Heller of Fitchburg, nephews, other relatives and friends.Marvin is preceded in death by his parents.Marvin’s family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison for the exceptional care they have provided over the years. The family also wishes to thank the nurses at Golden Living Center for their wonderful care in his last months.
