We loved Mary so much and have great memories of Mary. We were very close as neighbors and we considered her as family.
She was a loving and caring person.

Mary Ann R. Halfmann, age 79, of Beaver Dam, died peacefully on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam. The memorial gathering will be at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Monday, September 27, 2021 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. The memorial service will follow at the funeral home on Monday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Philip Heyer officiating. Inurnment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Mary Ann Rose Halfmann was born on June 26, 1942 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to Werner and Leona (Voelkner) Halfmann. She was a 1961 graduate of Beaver Dam Highs School. Mary Ann then attended Sacred Heart of Practical Nursing, graduating in 1964. She was an LPN at Beaver Dam Hospital for many years and cared greatly for the community. Beyond that, Mary Ann continuously cared for her family, helping raise her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary Ann is survived by her daughters, Deborah Halfmann and Mary Baade; grandchildren, Holly (Nick) Buchda, Marie Halfmann, and Evan Laufenberg; great grandchildren, Amaya Bradley, Madison and Molly Gradel, and Kristan Vant Hoff; sister-in-law, Judy Halfmann; nephew, Rob Halfmann; other relatives and friends. She was welcomed into Heaven by her parents; her brother, Ronald Halfmann; and her granddaughter, Kristan Baade.
