Mathew V. Lewis, age 38, of Thiensville, died Tuesday, September 3, 2013.

Funeral services for Mathew will be at Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Horicon on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 11:00 AM.

Mathew was born on January 9, 1975 in Vietnam and is the son of Edward and Alice (Hundredmark) Lewis. He graduated from Homestead High School in Mequon and attended Winona State University. He was currently employed at Hayes Brakes in Mequon. Mathew enjoyed playing chess and he studied the history and strategy of war, especially as it pertained to Vietnam.

Survivors include his parents, Ed & Alice Lewis of Horicon; two sisters, Stephanie Lewis of West Bend and Rebecca (Randal) Reece of Dallas, TX; his brother, Luke Lewis of Oostburg; seven nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
