It is very sad for the Bruessel Family to lose a star as bright as Tillie was. Every memory I have of Tillie is with her smiling and laughing which makes this memorial picture is a perfect choice.

Gale Bruessel left a message on June 11, 2012:
The Bruessel extended family has lost a beautiful and lovely person, my special Aunt Tillie. She will be missed and remembered always for frequently asking us kids about our lives and what we were up to. Her 4 kids and the 6 kids from our family grew up together between their home in Hartford and then Beaver Dam Lake and our home in Waukesha and then other cities as we disbursed around the state. She and her family were always welcoming to us and especially tried to stay in contact through the years. It was the signal to all when Aunt Tillie pulled out her nickels and dimes bag that it was time to play Sheepshead....a tradition carried on by us to this day. My sympathies to Uncle Wayne, Mary, Carol, Donna and Jean. May the memories of her stay in your hearts forever..... she will be in mine. Love, Gale

Lea Kitz left a message on June 10, 2012:
I am so sorry to learn of Aunt Tillie''s death. I have very appreciative memories of how the family helped my family after our dad died. Tillie was generous and kind, and the whole family helped us in many ways when we needed it the most. Years later she and Wayne opened their home to me to stay once a week for a couple of years, allowing me to work a strange work schedule and avoid late night driving. Again they were friendly and kind, never making me feel as though I was intruding, and it was such a pleasure to get to know them, and Mary, again in a new way. My memories of Tillie are all about these times and various holidays and family events, and her insistence that the "cousins" remain in touch. My sincere condolences to the family.
