Mildred Katherine Nora Krause, age 101, of Reeseville was called home by God on Saturday October 6th, 2012.
Mildred was born April 20th, 1911 the daughter of Asa and Leona Freber. She married Gerhard C. Krause and raised his three daughters; Mildred (Neis), Delores (Strahota), and Carol (Stelse). Together they had Jane (Klug).
Mildred loved sewing, growing flowers and raspberries, and shucking hickory nuts. Her biggest joy was of course the Milwaukee Brewers, as well as living in Reeseville.
Mildred is further survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as well as her many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Alton Freber and Orville Freber, stepdaughter Delores and her husband Raymond Strahota, sons-in-law Norbert Neis, LeRoy Stelse, and Richard Klug, as well as her dear friend Mabel Klentz.
Funeral services will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Reeseville on Saturday October 13th, 2012. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, with the service beginning at noon. Interment will be at the Reeseville Cemetery, and there will be a luncheon following at the Church Fellowship Hall. Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mildred”s name.
