Myrl J. Davis, age 74, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2010 at her home.
Myrl was born on April 4, 1936 in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Neal and Clara (Chalder) Wilmot. She lived in Dubuque until the age of nine when the family moved to Randolph, WI in 1946. Myrl lived in Randolph for two years before the family moved to California in 1948. Later on she met and married her husband Bill Davis and they moved to Simi Valley, CA and raised their four children. She worked at Deluxe Check Printer for 20 years. Myrl moved back to Beaver Dam, after all the years of being gone. When in California, she was good at and loved to golf. She also was an avid dart player and has plaques with 1st and 2nd place wins. Since retirement, she enjoyed cross stitching, which was a good pastime for her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her four children, Frederick J. (Rachel) Davis of Simi, CA, Deborah K Clark of Aurora, CO, Robert A. (Dianne) Davis of Chatsworth, CA, and Jonathan W. Davis of Fillmore, CA, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two sisters, Dolores Sherman of Beaver Dam and Joan Shackelford of Coeur d” Alene, ID, other relatives and friends.
At Myrl”s request, there will be no formal funeral and cremation has taken place.
