Myrtle L. Schultz, 87, of Beaver Dam passed away on Thursday, April 05, 2018 at Randolph Health Services. Myrtle was born the daughter of Otto and Verna (Ludwig) Erdman on April 12, 1930 in Doylestown, WI (township of Otsego). She was baptized on June 24, 1930 and was confirmed April 18, 1943. She was married to Lloyd Harold “Bud” Schultz on October 29, 1949 at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Doylestown. Myrtle was employed with Weyenberg Shoe Co. as well as Chrysler, Schultz Bros., and Cambell’s Clothing Store in Beaver Dam. Myrtle was a member of St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. She enjoyed crafts, knitting, and could crochet all day. She enjoyed going to the farmer’s market and selling her scrubbies and other crafts. Myrtle is survived by her children: Roger L. (Dorothy) Schultz of Markesan and Carol J. (Michael) McCormick of Beaver Dam; four grandchildren: Steven (Sherry) Schultz of Beaver Dam, Joseph (Rebecca) Schultz of Madison, Matthew McCormick of Beaver Dam, and Monica (John) McCormick-Cross of Germantown, Maryland; two great-grandchildren: Kyle Fischer and Conor Schultz; her sister, Doris Guenther of Beaver Dam; as well as other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, “Bud” in 1979; her sister, Dolores Wakeman and her brother, Herman Erdman. A visitation will be held at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Monday, April 9, 2018 from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Paul Stratman will officiate. Interment will take place at Highland Memory Gardens, township of Trenton. Memorials may be directed to St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam.
