Deepest condolences and comfort for your family. I have many fond remembrances of being neighbors and growing up with Jeff and Mark. May the Lord give you peace and strength.

Jim and Family, I am deeply saddened by the news of Nina's passing. Nina was a cousin that I did not see often, but we have always kept in touch. I have fond memories of times spent with her at the home of my Grandma Maggie A'Hearn and Aunt Clara A'Hearn Duncan. I enjoyed trips to visit Nina and her family with them, also. Aunt Clara was very devoted to family and made certain that I knew Nina and her family. She was also very fond of Jim and the boys and talked about all of you often.
Although I grief her loss, I am thankful Nina is in the arms of Jesus and am praying for the strength and peace of God for all of you.

Dear Jim and family, You are all in our thoughts and prayers. It was so sad to hear of Nina's passing. She has finished her race and really enjoying life now. I worked with her at ESKCO. She will be greatly missed.

Nina was the one that always played the benediction at Patterson Park Church. I'll always remember Pastor Dale saying at the end of every service, "please stand while Nina plays our benediction". I'm sad that she will no longer play our benediction. Instead, we're playing hers. It's been years since we've seen her since we went to the mission field, but will always remember her.

To our dear friend Jim Fickes: How you must miss your dear wife, Nina! Our prayers are with you in this time just after losing her. We greatly appreciate hers and your faithful service to the LORD over the years, especially those that we shared with you both as part of Patterson Park Church in Beavercreek, Ohio. Nina was a musician par excellence, but even more, such a radiant sister-in-Christ! Those of us who knew her -- however briefly and only partially -- will miss her too, until we reunite at the feet of our glorious LORD Jesus! With love, Tom and Renee Border

Dear Jim and your family, It is with a sad heart that I send you my thoughts and prayers. Nina was such a special "people Person" with her special smile. I was my pleasure to know her and her musicianship while you lived here in the Centerville area. Anita Looper
