Nubby touched many lives as family, friend, barkeeper, neighbor. He was a true grandpa to our son Phil from the day Liz introduced them. He was also the nicest Cubs fan I have ever met! We were always welcome at Caroline and Nubby's house. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Sternat, Neitzel and Feucht families, and while we mourn his passing to the next life, hope to see him there one day.

Nubby IS a dear soul and gracious man. Polite, generous, and kind are the easiest descriptions of his character. While I have been privileged to know him on this side of eternity, I look forward our reunion by and by. Until then his family and friends must certainly feel sad at his unexpected loss. How could they not? We always are saddened by the loss of great people. Nevertheless, this is only for the moment. Till we meet again Nubby! Greg Schroeder
