Norma J. Sieg, age 78, of Beaver Dam, died on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Meriter Hospital in Madison.
A graveside inurnment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Atkinson on Friday, January 20, 2012 at 10:30 AM.
The former Norma Joyce Cooper was born on September 27, 1933 in Oxford, New York to Edwin and Effie (Gilliam) Cooper. Some of Norma”s hobbies included playing computer games and connecting with friends and family on Facebook. She also liked to solve crossword and Sudoku puzzles. Norma”s pastime activities included reading mystery novels, playing the lottery and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
Survivors are her children Carol Aloi (Donald McCarthy), Jennifer (Brad) Lammers, Jon (Kara) Sieg; grandchildren, Dawn Schultz, Anthony (Amy) Schultz, Tyson Lammers, and Zach Lammers; great grandchildren, Tayler Schoonover, Brady Schoonover, Adrianna Schultz, Jasmine Schoonover, Amaya Bradley, Shadow Keene, and AnnaSophia Schultz; brothers and sisters, Bill (Liz) Cooper, Betty Maricle, Bonnie (Larry) Hayes Joslin, Ken (Gail) Cooper, Patricia (Bill) Scalf, Clifford Cooper, Kathy Going; extended family, Alberta Gravely, Buster Going, and Bob Hayes; former husband, David (Susie) Sieg; many cousins, nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles “Bud” Cooper, and Donald Cooper; sister, Linda Whitney Richardson; son, Brian David Sieg; first husband, Joseph Aloi; three brothers-in-law, Bob Owens, Norman Maricle, Emerton Whitney; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
