Norwin K. Fehrman, age 76, formerly of Waukesha, died Thursday, March 6, 2008 at his home in Lowell.
Visitation for Norwin will be at the Murray Funeral Home in Reeseville on Monday, March 10, 2008 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will follow on Monday at the funeral home, beginning at 7:00 PM. Rev. Paul Vander Galien will officiate. Burial will be at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 10:00 AM.
Norwin Kenneth Fehrman was born on January 6, 1932 in Tripoli, Wisconsin to the late Oscar and Gretta (Van Netta) Fehrman. After graduating from high school, he served in the United States Army during the Korean War. On May 1, 1954, Norwin was united in marriage with Adeline Kretchmer in Rib Lake. She preceded him in death on March 7, 1980. On May 5, 1984, he was united in marriage with Bernice Will. She also preceded Norwin in death in January of 1999. Norwin was a union plasterer in the Milwaukee area and was a perfectionist at his trade. In recent years, he enjoyed his visits to the Checkered Flag Diner in Lowell and his trips to the casino. Norwin was a member of Salem Ev. Lutheran Church in Lowell.
Survivors include six children, Kenneth (Mary) Fehrman of Waukesha, Diane (James) Kennedy of Juneau, Debra (Dennis) Hink of Waukesha, Kevin Fehrman of Kenosha, Kirt Fehrman of Trevor and Keith (Sandra) Fehrman of Arbor Vitae, 16 grandchildren, Kenneth L. Fehrman, Heith J. (Terri) Fehrman, Carsten J. (Amy) Hink, Heather M. (Joe) Cataldo, Nichol M. (Calvin) Stratman, Colton J. Kennedy, Rachael A. (Adam) Schwind, Kyle P. Kennedy, Katie (Michael) Osterman, Danielle Fehrman, Nathan Fehrman, Evan Fehrman, Devin Fehrman, Dylan Fehrman, Taylor Ward and Jaeli Ward, eight great grandchildren, Bobbie Stratman, Nolan Fehrman, Drew Fehrman, Camden Fehrman, Julia Osterman, Lillian Osterman, Lawson Hink and Adeline Schwind, six brothers and sisters, Gerald (Betty) Fehrman, Idel Kangas, Gretta Beckwith, Donald Fehrman, Doris (Wayne) Haylett, Norma (Dick) Edwards. Norwin was preceded in death by his parents, his first and second wives, a brother, LeRoy Fehrman, two brothers-in-law, Kenneth Kangas and Robert Beckwith, and a sister-in-law, Joanne Fehrman.
