Please accept my condolences on Pat''s passing. I will miss seeing her at Village Board meetings and the whole community will miss her great reporting. We are all better for having known Pat and there is no greater legacy that a person can leave than that.

I was saddened by the news of Pat''s passing. She was an inspiration and dedicated associate with Nancy''s Notions for so many years. Although I cannot be with you at the service this weekend, my family and all of us at Tacony Corporation extend our deepest sympathy to your family.
Patricia Cox-Charles left a message on December 2, 2013:
I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was a remarkable woman and a blessing to so many. She saved my sanity many times by taking over my classes with grace and efficiency. There is one incident from your freshman year that I''ll always remember and I bet she never told you. You and your fellow classmates had enthusiastically sold so many tickets to a chili supper that we were going to run out. I must have glanced at your mom with some desperation, because she asked what was wrong. When I explained, she calmly took charge, sent students to the store to get tomato juice and chili powder, and helped me stretch the chili just enough. I''ll be forever grateful. She will always have a special place in my heart. My sincere condolences to you all.

My memory of Mrs. Hahn was that she was the only sub-teacher that no one gave her any problems & I don''t recall her every saying anything bad about anyone. There are other memories to numerous to count. To the Hahn family you are in my thoughts & prayers.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

My heartfelt condolences to your family. Pat fought illness with dignity, grace and humor. Working closely with Pat for more than a decade, it was my good fortune to call her co-worker and friend. Her caring, kindness, compassion and generosity to everyone around her was matched only by the spirit of fun in her bright blue eyes. Not a typo or grammatical error escaped her, but neither did a chance to smile and to laugh. Pat''s spirit will live on at NN, she is deeply missed, and I will see her smile each time I see a correctly placed em-dash. May your family find comfort in all the lives she enriched.

I am sorry for your loss and It is a loss for all of us as well. I worked at NN with Pat for many years and she was always available to discuss ideas with me even though I knew she had lots of work on the desk. When I announced my retirement from NN she was so kind in her words that I would be missed. She was one of a kind with her commitment to NN and all of her volunteer activities. When you look at the stars tonight, think of them as lights welcoming Pat home. "I know that my Redeemer lives. What comfort that sweet sentence gives!"
