Patricia L. Schwanke, age 65, formerly of Horicon, died on Friday, November 11, 2011 at Agnesian Hospital in Fond du Lac.

The visitation will be at Murray Funeral Home in Horicon on Thursday, November 17, 2011 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at the funeral home on Thursday at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at Oakhill Cemetery in Horicon.

The former Patricia Lee Marlock was born on April 28, 1946 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to Anthony and Dolores (Plageman) Marlock. On November 16, 1963 she was united in marriage with Donald “Butch” Schwanke in Horicon. Patsy was dedicated to everything that she did. It always showed in the work that she did at Van Brunt School and Clearview Nursing Home where she worked as a housekeeper for 23 years. She was also heavily involved with her husband”s novelty store, Butch”s Train Shop, in Horicon.

Survivors are her children, Robert (Karen) Schwanke of Malvern, IA, Scott Schwanke of Waupun, Michele Schwanke (Craig Boettcher) of Horicon, and Donald (Jenny) Schwanke, Jr., of Rolling Prairie, grandchildren, Timothy (fiancAC.e, Jessica)and Erika Schwanke, Emily and Kaitlyn Schwanke, Amanda Schwanke, Andrew Mueller, Tiffany Schwanke, Jacob and Jordan Schwanke, great grandchildren, Madisyn and Aryanna Schwanke, Ayden and Aubry Schwanke, a sister, Madelyn Lazich of Milwaukee, sisters-in-law, Donna (Gerald) Miller of Montello, and Wendy Breselow of Horicon, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister, MaryAnn Thoreson.
