Patrick J. Huntley, 45, of Beaver Dam passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at his home.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2014 at the Koepsell Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Rd., Beaver Dam with the Rev. Michael Erwin officiating. A visitation will also be held on Friday from Noon until 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Beaver Dam.

Patrick was born the son of Morris A. and Helen (Bauer) Huntley on June 4, 1968 in Beaver Dam. He was a 1987 graduate of Beaver Dam High School. Pat was a member of the Advocate for Rights of Citizens. He was active with Special Olympics in helping with the bowling competition. His hobbies included listening to music and watching the Brewers and Badgers. He also loved to drive his 2013 Toyota Prius. Pat enjoyed spending time with people, especially his niece and nephew, Amanda and Josh as well as helping people in any way. He especially enjoyed spending time with his pet cats, Shaggy and Joey.

Pat is survived by his siblings: David Huntley, Ed Huntley and Nancy Austin all of Beaver Dam; his nephew, Joshua Austin of Beaver Dam; his niece, Amanda (Philip) Murry of Beaver Dam; his great-nieces: Layla and Harleigh Murry; and further survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Helen in 1994 and his father Morris in 2004.
