Paul Seiler, age 84, of Beaver Dam, died Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home, 131 East Maple Avenue in Beaver Dam, on Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM.
Paul was born on September 23, 1929 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin to the late Edward and Rosa (Risergreggs) Seiler. On June 29, 1957, he was united in marriage with Marion L. Kreuziger in Clyman. Paul worked at the Dodge County Highway Department and then at Michels Construction for 26 years before retiring in 1994. He served over 10 years in the Wisconsin National Guard. Paul enjoyed auto racing and would travel to Ohio and Iowa to watch dirt track races. He also enjoyed polka dancing and playing cards, especially euchre and sheepshead. Paul was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church in Beaver Dam.
Survivors include his wife, Marion Seiler of Beaver Dam; three children, Susan M. (David) Crump of O”Fallon, IL, Peter J. (Teresa) Seiler of Satellite Beach, FL, and Thomas A. (Karen) Seiler of Menomonee Falls, WI; five grandchildren, Chad (Luisa) Seiler, Brianna (Nathan) Ashe, Thomas Seiler, Jr., Samantha Seiler, and Allison Seiler; four great grandsons, Dominic Ashe, Devin Ashe, Damien Ashe, and Alexander Seiler; and a sister-in-law, Marcia Seiler of Sun Prairie, WI. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Walter Seiler.
