Paul T. Steinbach

Paul T. Steinbach, 93 years old, of Mayville, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017 at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac.A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 3rd at 1:00 p.m. at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church (River Church) in the township of Theresa, with the Rev. Douglas J. Zahner officiating. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 3rd from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church. Burial will take place at St. John Cemetery in Mayville.Paul was born on May 13, 1924 to Benjamin and Lydia (Hoffman) Steinbach in Dodge County. He was united in marriage to El May E. Haslow on October 17, 1954 at Zum Kripplein Christi Lutheran Church in the township of Herman. He was a lifelong farmer in the township of Williamstown.Paul was a member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church (River Church) in the township of Theresa. He was a member of the Dodge County Farm Bureau and Mayville Senior Center. He enjoyed playing cards and fishing.Paul is survived by: his wife – El May of Mayville; his children – Marvin P. Steinbach of Mayville & Marlis Rese of Cottage Grove; his sister – Norma (Alan) Hilbert of Denver, CO; his brother – Ronald (Marlene) Steinbach of Mayville; his brothers-in-law – Ronald (Marlene) Budahn of West Bend & Willard (Shirley) Haslow of Mayville; his sister-in-law – Dorothy Steinbach of Iron Ridge; his grandson Brandon; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Paul is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Art and Harold, and his sisters Frieda and Paula.
