Pearl R. Dejanovich, 97 years old, of Mayville, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Mayville, with the Rev. Father Tom Biersack presiding. A visitation will be held on January 4th from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church in Mayville prior to the Mass. Inurnment will take place in St. Mary Cemetery in Mayville.Pearl was born the daughter of Richard and Lillian (Weninger) Ruecker on September 19, 1920 in Theresa, WI. She was united in marriage to Emil Dejanovich on February 14, 1944 in Theresa.Pearl is survived by: her son David (Ranee) Dejanovich of Mayville; Her brother Jim (Marlene Adelmeyer) Ruecker of Theresa; Three grandchildren David E. Dejanovich, Tamra (Justin) Cannon, and Sara Dejanovich; Three step-grandchildren James Folts, Christopher (Stephanie) Folts, and Danielle Folts; Two great grandsons- Michael Keel and Benjamin Cannon; Seven step-great grandchildren Derik Folts, Abigayle Folts, Alyesson Folts, Jordan Folts, Carter Folts, Emily Wondra and Tye Folts; Her brother-in-law Robert Zimmerman of Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Pearl is preceded in death by her husband Emil in 1999, her parents, and her sisters June Zimmerman, Mary Lou Zangl, and Vivian Ruecker, and her brother Ralph (Bud) Ruecker.Memorials may be directed to St. Mary Catholic Church in Mayville.
