Phyllis E. Rigotti

Phyllis E. Rigotti, age 68, of Beaver Dam, died Monday, June 6, 2011 at Menomonee Falls Health Care.

A memorial gathering will be held at St. Katharine Drexel Church, 127 W. Maple Avenue in Beaver Dam on Saturday, June 11, 2011 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at church on Saturday beginning at 1:00 PM. Fr. Michael J. Erwin will officiate. Inurnment will be at St. Michael”s Cemetery in the Town of Beaver Dam, Dodge County, Wisconsin. Following the cemetery services, a luncheon will be served in the church hall.

The former Phyllis Esther Erdmann was born on August 5, 1942 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Anthony and Dolores (Chaneske) Erdmann. She graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1960. On March 3, 1962, Phyllis was united in marriage with Sabino Rigotti at St. Peter”s Catholic Church in Beaver Dam. She worked at Scotts Candy Company in Sun Prairie for many years. Phyllis and Sam began foster parenting in 1970 and have cared for five disabled children through the years. Phyllis was a wonderful mother and a very special mom to Jeff and Tony. Phyllis was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Parish, formerly St. Michael”s Parish, where she served as a lector and communion minister. She was also a member of the Beaver Dam Area Community Theater and served in many capacities through the years. Phyllis was an avid reader; she enjoyed crossword puzzles and crocheting, as well as, trips to the casino with her family.
