Raymond Arthur Manzer, 89, a lifetime resident of Beaver Dam, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018 at his home. No formal funeral services will be held, inurnment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery on a later date. Raymond was born the son of Franklin and Ellen (Stegner) Manzer on October 10, 1928 in Beaver Dam. He was a 1946 graduate of Beaver Dam High School. Ray was united in marriage with Dorothy Evans in 1953. He proudly served his country overseas in the US Army during WWII. Ray also served his community with 38 years of service as a U.S. Mail Carrier, from which he retired from. Raymond was a member of the Beaver Dam American Legion Post #146, and was a lifelong member of the Beaver Dam Conservation Club. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing. Ray is survived by his nephews; Ronald Arndt, Jack (Bonnie) Arndt, and his niece; Patricia (nee Arndt) Miller. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dorothy in 1962, and his sister Ruth.
